Careers in Eyecare has gained new sponsorship from Vivid Optical, the leading recruitment consultancy in optometry. The support will help the campaign to continue its outreach to young people, parents, careers advisors and anyone looking to switch careers or develop their skills.

Careers in Eyecare was launched by the Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) in 2020. It won the Youth Employment UK ‘Best Newcomer’ 2020 award and the Creating Opportunity #YouthFriendlyEmployer Award for 2021. Sponsors include leading optical brands Woodspeen, Specsavers and Stepper (UK) Limited.
